"Cheesecake" Strawberry Sauce

This "Cheesecake" Strawberry sauce is a must have. Sweet tooth aching, I have just the thing. Made from natural ingredients, fresh fruits, its perfect on top of almost anything. The perfect side to your breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert. Use as a jam, syrup or dipping sauce. This is a recipe you are sure to love.

 

-Prep Time : 5 min

-Cook Time : 15 min

-Total Time : 20 min

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Cup Diced Strawberries

  • 1/3 Cup Cane Sugar

  • 1 Tsp Vanilla

UTENSILS

  • Sauce pan

  • Blender or NutriBullet

INSTRUCTIONS:


Step 1.

In a small or medium saucepan combine strawberries, sugar and vanilla. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. The mixture will sizzle for a while, juice will begin to form from the strawberries releasing water. Mash Strawberries with a wooden spoon while continuing to stir occasionally to help produce syrup. Cook until sauce thickens, about 10-15 min


Step 2.

Remove from heat and add to blender. Puree sauce.


Step 3.

Add sauce back to saucepan under medium heat. Cook for 2 more min or until desired texture/ consistency is achieved.


Step 4.

Serve and enjoy!

I had this sauce on the Whipped Strawberry Drips 🍓 and it was amazing but I saved some for my pancakes and croissant because it is the perfect way to add some decadence to baked goods.
