Sugarcoated Strawberry & Granola Topped Brownies

VEGAN DAIRY-FREE BANANA BROWNIES

Serves 12-16


Whether your vegan, vegetarian, lactose intolerant or a meat lover, these vegan brownies are a hit with kids and adults alike. These brownies will give you the chocolate fix of your dreams. Feel free to sneak a few chocolate chips in there, shhhhh, I wont tell. This recipe calls for bananas in place of eggs and can be topped with any toppings of your choice.

INGREDIENTS:


Baking

  • (2) Cups All-Purpose Unbleached Flour

  • (2) Cups Unrefined Cane Sugar

  • (3/4) Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

  • (1) Tsp Baking Powder

  • (1) Tsp Sea Salt

  • (1) Cup Bananas (Ripe, Mashed)

  • (1/4) Cup Almond Milk

  • (1/4) Cup Almond Oil

  • (1) Tsp Pure Vanilla Extract

Toppings

  • Breyer's Non-Dairy Icecream

  • Frozen or Fresh Strawberries

  • Crushed Granola Chunks

  • Organic Powdered Sugar

UTENSILS

  • 2 Medium Mixing Bowls

  • Whisk

  • Mixer

  • Baking Dish

  • Rubber Spatula

INSTRUCTIONS:


Step 1.

Gather the ingredients and utensils.

Step 2.

Preheat the oven to 350 F. Lightly oil a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with almond oil or any spray oil and set aside.


Step 3.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Mix well.


Step 4.

In your second medium mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, almond milk, almond oil and vanilla extract. Mix well.


Step 5.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry, mixing well until all ingredients are well combined.


Step 6.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan. 


Step 7.

Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center emerges clean.


Step 8.

Allow brownies to cool completely on a wire cooling rack before cutting into squares and serving.


Step 9.

Once brownies are cut into squares top with Breyer's Non-Dairy Ice Cream of your choice, sift organic powdered sugar, Grate/slice fresh or frozen strawberries onto ice cream and sprinkle with crushed granola of choice.



Step 10.

Serve and enjoy!
